Multipliers and Boosts

Limit Multipliers

Predict's top-performing traders earn Blast Gold every month.

To be eligible, they must earn points, which can be achieved in two ways:

  • By placing one of the top five highest bids on a market

  • By placing one of the top five lowest asks on a market

In other words, the traders that provide liquidity closest to the current market price will earn points.

Not all asks are created equal, so there's an added incentive for taking a higher risk of order execution: the top five will receive a multiplier on their points as follows:

Here, we can see that the closest orders to the market price receive a multiplier of 100x at each snapshot. Conversely, the furthest away (within this ranking) receive none, earning points at the lowest possible rate.

Note: to be eligible for points, an order must be active for a minimum of five minutes. Be sure to keep an eye on your open orders, as you may find they get matched quickly.

It doesn't matter how much volume you're playing with — sixth place and below receives no points.

The total amount of base points distributed within a 24-hour period is fixed, allocated in proportion to the market's volume. So, for instance, if two markets existed (one with 70% of the total volume and one with 30%), then they'd receive 70% and 30% of available points, respectively. The points earned here can, of course, be increased by earning leaderboard Boosts.

Leaderboard Boosts

On the Rewards page, you'll find the 24-hour rolling leaderboard, which ranks the top traders based on their points. Making it to the leaderboard yields its own set of benefits in the form of Boosts.

If you find yourself within the top 100, you'll get an additional multiplier to maximize your points even further. Boosts are awarded as follows:
