The TL;DR
Predict is funding a prize pool across The International, with a total of 100,000 USDT and 5,000,000 Predict Points in rewards on the table.
You don't have to stay loyal to one team. Instead, you'll place predictions on a range of markets tied to each match. Get it right, and you get Activity Points (AP).
Your AP (and everyone else's) stacks on a single, tournament-wide leaderboard. Rewards pay out in two phases (Group Stage and Final) to the top 1,000 ranked players at each snapshot.
Step 1: Place Your Predictions
Every match at The International has a card of markets to predict. Here's what you should know:
You're not locked into a single team. Predict across as many matches as you like, for whichever teams you like.
Each match's card has four match-level markets (Match Winner, Game 1/2 Winner, Total Games, Game Handicap) plus First Blood and Kill Totals markets for the games within it.
A standard Bo3 match can net you up to 40,000 AP if you qualify and win in every market.
Step 2: Earn Activity Points
Each market on a match's card earns you a fixed number of Activity Points if the conditions are met.
Qualifying for a market
To make sure Activity Points reward real trading, each market has three requirements. You need to meet all three for that market to count.
Buy and lock a position. Buy at least 20 shares of the side you want before the match begins, and lock that selection in.
Hold the position. You must hold at least 20 shares of that position when the market resolves.
Win! Your locked option needs to be the correct one.
If you miss any of the three, that market's Activity Points will not be credited, even if your prediction was correct.
The leaderboard
The Predict International has a single, tournament-wide Activity Points leaderboard.
As each market resolves, your Activity Points are credited automatically and the leaderboard updates. There's no claim step to worry about — your total grows as matches play out.
Step 3: Collect Your Rewards
Predict.fun funds a fixed prize pool across two reward phases, mirroring the structure of The International itself:
Group Stage Rewards

Final Rewards
75,000 USDT + 4,000,000 PP
Aug 20 – Aug 23
At the close of each phase, the top 1,000 ranked players share that phase's pool, paid out in tiers by Activity Points rank. The higher you rank, the bigger your reward.
If two or more players finish tied on the exact same number of Activity Points, there's no tiebreaker. They share the combined rewards of the ranks they're tied across, split equally.
Pools are paid in USDT and Predict Points after each phase ends. Market resolution follows UMA Optimistic Oracle timing, the same trusted resolution that powers the rest of Predict.fun.
Step 4: See Step 1
Your Activity Points are cumulative. They don't reset between phases, so everything you've earned since the event started carries into your Final Rewards ranking.
Group Stage Rewards pay out after the group and elimination round stages, based on your AP at that snapshot.
Final Rewards pay out after the Bo5 Grand Final, based on your total AP across the whole event.
Keep predicting across both windows to make the most of your running total.
FAQ
I traded on a Dota 2 market but didn't earn any points. Why? Activity Points are only earned on markets visible in the activity hub, and only once you've bought and locked shares on them.
What counts as a valid lock? At least 20 shares, locked in before the match begins and held until the market resolves.
Does locking more shares earn more points? No. 20 shares is a minimum threshold, not a multiplier — each market pays a fixed amount, once per user.
Do I need to claim my Activity Points? No, they're credited automatically. Only the Group Stage Reward and the Final Reward have a claim step.
Do my points reset after the Group Stage Reward? No. Your AP carries over: everything you've accumulated since the event started counts toward your Final Reward ranking.
When do I get my rewards? After each phase ends, once markets have settled and points are finalized.
